The
Cottages
The properties
are set in an acre of grounds with panoramic views towards
the Clee Hills and beyond. Working farmland is all around,
with easy access for walking provided by a network of
public footpaths. Visitors are welcome to share part
of the large garden and the courtyard.
All of the
cottages have a wealth of exposed beams and stone features.
(Our taller guests should take care in Jinney Ring,
Stable and Kibble Mill.) Leintwardine village, a couple
of miles away, is prettily located on the banks of the
River Teme. In the village there are two pubs with restaurants,
an ale house and fish and chip shop. The post office,
grocers, butcher, doctor’s and vet’s surgeries
and the garage provide excellent local services. The
church, chapel and art gallery also welcome visitors.
We provide
– duvets, blankets, bed linen and all bathroom
and kitchen towels (included in the tariff). There is
a selection of books and games, as well as tourist information
and maps of the local area in each cottage. All are
equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and full-sized
fridge. Additionally Jinney Ring has a dishwasher and
fridge-freezer. All cottages have a television, radio-clock
alarm and hairdryer.
WiFi Internet
access is available in all cottages except Kibble Mill.
All heating,
electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the
cost of the holiday. Jinney Ring has a washing machine
and laundry facilities are available on request for
other cottages. Parking is close to the cottages and
we can provide access to a landline phone if needed.
For our young
visitors we have a baby’s cot and high chair.
Toys for indoor and outdoor play are available and babysitting
can be arranged.
For safety,
and the comfort of our other visitors, we ask you not
to smoke inside the cottages.
Dogs are
welcome, but should be kept on leads. Pet-sitting can
be arranged.
